Dr. Ulrich L. Rohde is a Professor of Electrical Engineering and Microwave Engineering a the Universites of Oradea, Romania, and Cottbus, Germany . He received a PhD from Clayton University, USA in 1978., a Dr.Ing. from the Technical University of Germany 2004 on Microwave Oscillators and holds several honorary Doctorates .In 2011, he earned the Dr.-Ing habil. Degree from the University of Cottbus, Germany. He is currently also the Chairman of Synergy Microwave Corporation,Paterson, New Jersey. In 2014, he joined IIT Delhi as Honorary Professor in Centre for Applied Research in Electronics. Visit the Website

Dr. Rohde has 45 patents and has published more than 200 scientific papers in professional journals, contributed a chapter entitled "Oscillators and Frequency Synthesizers" of the Handbook of Microwave and Optical Components, 2nd Edition by Kai Chang, published in 2003, contributed a chapter entitled "Frequency Synthesizers" to The Wiley Encyclopedia of Telecommunications by John G. Proakis, published in 2003, as well as nine current books as listed:
