About

Vikrant Kaim is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Centre for Applied Research in Electronics (CARE) at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), since Dec. 2024. In Dec. 2023, he joined the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi, Delhi, India. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, from Jan. – Dec. 2023. He earned his Ph.D (Electronics and Communication, 2022), M.Tech (Microwave Electronics, 2016), and B. Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering, 2014) from Jawaharlal Nehru University, University of Delhi, and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, respectively.

His research interests includes RF & microwave engineering, applied electromagnetics, and antennas with focus on bio-electromagnetics and wireless biomedical devices devices (implantables, ingestibles, injectibles).

Dr. Kaim has been a recipient of the prestigious CSIR Senior Research Fellowship in 2019.

His research interests include applied electromagnetics with focus on bio-electromagnetics and wireless biomedical devices for implantable, ingestible, and injectible applications such as:
